This Privacy Policy explains how QuranMemo ("the app", "we") handles your information. QuranMemo is an offline Quran memorization companion operated by Burak Dümer.
QuranMemo works entirely offline. Your memorization progress, streaks, settings, and any voice recordings you make are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync.
The optional record-and-listen-back feature records only when you tap record, saves the recording on your device, and lets you delete it at any time. Recordings never leave your device. Microphone permission is requested only when you first use this feature, and the rest of the app works fully without it.
QuranMemo shows no ads and contains no tracking. We do not collect your name, email, location, or contacts, and we run no identifying analytics. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because nothing tracks you.
QuranMemo's memorization features are free. If you choose the optional one-time "Support QuranMemo" upgrade, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase information solely to validate and restore your purchase. We never receive your payment-card details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The Quran text in the app comes from the Tanzil Project (Uthmani edition), used verbatim with attribution as its license requires. The bundled text is verified against a pinned cryptographic checksum at every launch; if verification ever fails, the app refuses to display Quran text.
QuranMemo collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, KVKK in Türkiye), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because everything lives on your device, you control it directly — delete recordings in the app or uninstall the app at any time. For purchase data held by Apple/RevenueCat, please refer to their policies.
