Privacy Policy — CalmBreath

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CalmBreath ("the app", "we") handles your information. CalmBreath is operated by Burak Dümer. CalmBreath is private by design: it works fully on your device.

1. The short version

CalmBreath has no account, no login, and no sign-up. We do not collect personal data, we do not use analytics, we do not show ads, and we do not track you. Your breathing data stays on your device. The only information that leaves your device is what Apple and RevenueCat need to process an optional one-time purchase.

2. Data stored on your device

Your session history, streaks, settings, and any custom breathing patterns you create are stored locally on your device only. We do not require an account, and we do not upload, sync, or transmit this data to our servers (we operate no servers for this app). You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset, or by deleting the app.

3. No analytics, no ads, no tracking

CalmBreath v1.0 contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you, and there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because the app does not track you across apps or websites.

4. Purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)

CalmBreath offers one optional one-time purchase, CalmBreath Pro. If you make this purchase, it is processed by Apple, and entitlement is validated and restored through RevenueCat. For this purpose, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase receipt so the unlock can be validated and restored across your devices. This information is used only to provide the purchase and restore functionality — not for advertising or tracking. We do not receive or store your payment-card details; those are handled entirely by Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Notifications

If you opt in to the optional daily reminder, CalmBreath schedules a local notification on your device. This is handled entirely on-device by iOS; no reminder data is sent to us or to any third party.

6. Health data

CalmBreath v1.0 does not access Apple Health / HealthKit and does not collect any health data.

7. What we do not do

We do not sell or share your personal data. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location. We do not use cookies or cross-app tracking.

8. Children

CalmBreath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Your rights

Depending on your region (for example, GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, or KVKK in Türkiye), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because CalmBreath stores your data on your own device and we hold no personal data about you on any server, you can exercise these rights directly: reset your data in-app or delete the app at any time. For the limited purchase data held by Apple and RevenueCat, please refer to their privacy policies linked above.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
